Due to the popularity of roller skating, we experience a lot calls regarding birthday parties, learn to skate classes, and general public skating. In an effort to provide the best Customer Service possible, we have provided you with the most frequently asked questions and answers.
General Skating FAQs
Yes you can. We ask you check for any loose bolts and parts. If your not sure, feel free to ask, we can take a look. If skates need repaired, there will be a charge. Also, please make sure they are clean of mud, dirt, and/or debris
Non Skating adults, babies, and toddlers are free to watch. All children must pay admission and skate rental if needed.
Parents can walk on the floor for free to help. We also rent skate trainers for $5 each. If you are skating with your child, you MAY NOT PICK UP OR CARRY at any time, regardless of your skill level.
We also offer Skate School Classes every Saturday morning from 11:45am-12:45pm. You can sign up anytime. Class open to ages 5 and up.
You may bring in a cake or cupcakes with a reserved birthday package only. No other outside food or drinks allowed with the exception of a personal water bottle.
We have a concession stand. We offer various soft drinks, snacks, candy, pizza, nachos, pretzels, slushies, and more.
We rent traditional roller skates, sizes toddler 7- mens 15, and inline skates, sizes youth 1-mens 14.
Yes we do have lockers.
We have a few different models of roller skates. We do not sell inlines, however! We generally have most sizes in stock, but if we don’t, we can usually get most skates pretty quickly. We also have catalogues if we don’t have what you’re looking for.
We accept cash, credit cards, Apple Pay, and gift cards
We do offer fundraising events for those groups that have a government tax id or non profit id number.Call or e-mail us to discuss options.
We do take song requests. All music must not have explicit or offensive lyrics. Please keep in mind, we do format all of our sessions for families and children.
Birthdays FAQs
Anyone who wants to skate and have access to the skate floor. Adults, parents, and/or infants just wanting to observe the fun, do not have to be a paid guest.
Check in and guest arrival is 15 minutes before party start time. We may have scheduled parties before yours, so if the table is not set and ready , the guests can at least start getting skates on.
We provide pizza and drinks with most of our party packages. We do not allow outside food or drinks, only a cake, cupcakes, or cookies are permitted with a paid reserved party.
We host parties for all ages. You’re never too young or old to roller skate!
Yes of course, a baked desert like a cake, cookies, cupcakes, or brownies are fine as long as you have a scheduled party reservation and made a deposit.
Yes, you will have a shared party host that will set up your table with tablecloth, plates, cups, napkins, & utensils. They will serve your food & drinks, and assist you with any of your needs. When your party is finished, they will clean up the mess. If you are interested in a private host, we do offer private party packages as well.
A $50 non refundable deposit is required to reserve. The deposit is applied to the total amount.
Skate school FAQs
Skate School is a 1 hour group class divided into 3 skill levels, focusing on balance and confidence on skates. Students will learn basic skills like forwards, backwards, crossovers, level changing, and even how to fall and get back up!
Skate School is for all ages and skill levels. Each student is evaluated on the first visit, and then placed in the skill set level.
No, we include the use of our rental roller skates or inline skates. You may also bring your own, just make sure they are clean and free of debris , and don’t forget to check for any loose bolts or screws!
You can sign up online anytime for Skate School. It is open to skaters ages 5 and older. We suggest you arrive 15 minutes early on first visit in order to get skates on and a little time to maybe shake off the first time jitters! Each student will first be evaluated, then placed in the appropriate skill level. Students will have 8 weeks to attend 6 classes, working towards acquiring the skills to graduate to the next level.
Unfortunately, Skate School is a designed 6 week program. We do offer 1 hour ,private lessons during our public skate sessions. Cost is $25, skate rental is additional if needed. If you are interested, you will need to call us to schedule.
Students are evaluated on the first visit, and then placed in the appropriate level. Unfortunately, we cannot just place a student in a certain level to be with another sibling or friend, the evaluating teacher will place each student.
No problem, in fact, we already have planned for that! Each student has 8 weeks from first visit to complete 6 classes.
